Ghent, WV (WOAY) Winterplace Ski Resort announces it will temporarily suspend operations for Sunday, January 25, out of an abundance of caution.
The resort reports that the ice accumulation has made conditions dangerous for guests and employees.
They further state that the inclement weather has resulted in power outages and unstable electricity.
Winterplace assures the resort will accomodate guest who pre-purchased tickets for today, and they will provide updates as soon as they can resume operations.
