White Sulphur Springs is under a boil water advisory as a precaution

Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – The city of White Sulphur Springs is under a boil water advisory as it undergoes what Mayor Thomas Taylor describes as a staffing transition.

The city says the advisory is done out of caution and not because of contamination or system issues.

A new water plant operator is on-site and being trained. A temporary licensed operator is on-site to oversee the plant while the certification process continues.

The system is also testing the water.
