Marlinton, WV (WOAY) A Pocahontas County man is fortunately safe after a harrowing experience of being trapped for days.
According to ABC Affiliate WCHS TV, state troopers rescued the 83-year-old, who was trapped between his bed and a wall.
Authorities were conducting a wellness check at the home on Sheets Lane on Friday when they discovered him, where he reportedly said he had been stuck for five days.Â
Emergency services transported the man to the Pocahontas County Memorial Hospital for treatment, and later transferred him to LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia for further treatment.
