West Virginia State Police to conduct sobriety checkpoint in Hinton on December 12

Hinton, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Summers County on Thursday, December 12. 

The checkpoint will be at Route 107, Stokes Drive, in Hinton, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. 

The purpose of this checkpoint is to deter impaired drivers and educate the public about the dangers of driving a vehicle while under the influence.
