UPDATE: Yost has been located and arrested
Huntington, WV (WOAY) Authorities in Cabell County are searching for an escaped patient they say is considered extremely dangerous.
West Virginia State Police say troopers responded to River Park Hospital in Huntington on Sunday, April 26, after 50-year-old James Ryan Yost reportedly fled from the facility.
Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate him.
Troopers say Yost had been committed to state custody by reason of insanity through February of 2098.
He has been entered into the National Crime Information Center as an escapee.
Yost is 5’9, weighs around 140 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
