Beckley, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) is seeking new cadets and will offer a testing opportunity in Raleigh County.
On Wednesday, September 9, the WVSP will be in Beckley to test for the 79th Cadet Class.
Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old but no older than 39 on the day of enlistment, a United States citizen, have a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or G.E.D.
Applicants must also pass the written examination and physical agility test.
Registration will start at 8:30 a.m., and testing will begin at 9:00 AM.
Participants will be required to provide photo identification upon check-in.
WVSP advises participants to wear professional attire when arriving and bring physical fitness attire such as shorts, T-shirts, and running shoes to change into for the PT test.
