West Virginia State Police assists stolen RV case

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Last Friday, four RV campers were stolen from Roy’s RV’s in Randolph County.

Two males have been taken into custody, and the RV’s have been secured. The West Virginia State Police Department in Beckley was involved in the case.

“Those campers made their way into Raleigh County,” said Turnpike Dispatch Commander Sergeant Dave McMillan. “The campers came through the North Beckley toll plaza. They actually didn’t pay the toll and didn’t have a license plate on the back of the campers. The units on the turnpike were made aware of the situation and were able to locate two of the four campers, and successfully apprehend those two individuals.”

The two criminals were connected to a national crime ring by stealing these campers.
