West Virginia (WOAY) West Virginia State Parks is bringing back its annual Farm to Table Dinner Series, highlighting locally sourced food and the state’s scenic parks.
The first dinner is set for August 21 at Chief Logan State Park, beginning with a social at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:30.
The menu will feature local favorites, including corn chowder, country-fried chicken, beef chuck roast, roasted vegetables, fried green tomatoes and squash, along with berry cobbler or fried pies.
Tickets are $35, and guests can also enjoy live entertainment and a keepsake from the evening.
Additional dinners are scheduled at state parks across West Virginia through November, including Cacapon, Twin Falls, Hawks Nest, Blackwater Falls and Pipestem.
Tickets are limited, so guests are encouraged to make reservations in advance through West Virginia State Parks.
