West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office rolls out Sample Ballot Lookup Tool

Charleston, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office is rolling out new tools ahead of next month’s primary election.

Secretary of State Kris Warner has announced the launch of the state’s Sample Ballot Lookup Tool.

The online portal allows registered voters to view their exact ballot by entering their name, date of birth, and home county.

Warner says reviewing your ballot ahead of time is one of the best ways to be prepared on Election Day. 

Sample ballots will also be published in local newspapers statewide from April 16-22.

Sample ballots will also be available through county clerk offices upon request. 

The deadline to register or update your voter information is Tuesday, April 21.

Early in-person voting begins on April 29.
