Caldwell, WV (WOAY) A celebration of community, conservation, and pride is heading to the Greenbrier River this weekend.
The West Virginia Rivers Coalition, Greenbrier River Watershed Association, and Greenbrier Valley Pride are hosting “Paddle with Pride” on Sunday, June 7th.
Participants will float from the Caldwell boat launch to Ronceverte Island Park before gathering for an after-party and karaoke at the Sportsman Tavern.
Organizers say the event is designed to create a welcoming space on the water while encouraging people to connect with and protect West Virginia’s natural resources.
Registration is required, and a limited number of kayaks will be available for participants.
