CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY) -West Virginia is continuing to bring in more tax revenue than it estimated in its initial budget.
Governor Justice announced today that West Virginia has a $458 million budget surplus through the first seven months of the fiscal year.
January tax collections from corporations, personal income, and retail transactions were millions of dollars higher than estimated.
The fiscal year ends in June.
