West Virginia Osteopathic Medical School accepting applications for Clinical Anatomy Summer Experience camp until May 1

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY): The West Virginia Osteopathic Medical School is inviting high schoolers to come get a sneak peek of what medical school looks like.

The school is accepting applications for its third annual Clinical Anatomy Summer Experience (CASE) camp, which will take place from June 23-27.

The free camp aims to introduce young scientists to anatomical structures and their clinical significance.

From 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day, students will participate in hands-on lessons in the college’s gross anatomy lab and several other interactive activities.

Rising high school juniors, seniors, and new high school graduates can apply for the camp.

In addition to the application, students must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, signed permission from a parent or guardian, and a one-page essay outlining their experience in learning anatomy and what they hope to learn from the camp.

The application deadline is May 1.
