West Virginia Department of Tourism launches Culinary Trail initiative

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Department of Tourism has launched a new initiative highlighting must-visit restaurants across the Mountain State.

The West Virginia Culinary Trail shines a light on restaurants selected by the inaugural class of West Virginia Chef Ambassadors.

As new ambassadors join the program, the culinary trail will grow larger with more local eateries.

Foodies will earn rewards when checking in to restaurants on the list, and the more you dine, the more prizes you’ll earn.

To participate in the culinary trail, you can visit wvtourism.com/culinarytrail to request a West Virginia Culinary Trail mobile passport to be delivered to your smartphone.

Users will check in at each location using GPS and earn one point for each restaurant they visit.
