West Virginia American Water will upgrade infrastructure in Fayetteville

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia American Water will spend more than $500,000 on upgrades to infrastructure along East Maple Avenue in Fayetteville.

Crews will replace 1,110 feet of mainline from Sarah Street to Huse Street.

The company says the pipe is aging and will be replaced with PVC. Traffic restrictions will be in place during the project, but work is expected to be done this spring.
