Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): The next round of showers and storms will move through overnight.
Here’s the low down on the forecast going forward through the week:
TONIGHT: Frequent cloud to ground lightning and very heavy rain will end by 2 a.m.
WEDNESDAY: Early rain will give way to dry weather. Humidity will remain in check.
THURSDAY: The daylight will remain dry, it will turn very humid and then after dark, showers and storms will push into our region ahead of a vigorous cold front. Gusty winds and very heavy rain are likely. There is a high threat for localized flash flooding.
FRIDAY: A couple of showers are likely in the afternoon before the front finally pushes east of the mountains.
WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK: Much less humid, cooler and dry weather is expected. The next threat of rain is ahead of the next front on Tuesday.
