Weather Update: Roller Coaster Ride in Temperatures; Rain Deficit Mounts

Rainfall will be scarce through next week and temperatures will range from near to well-above average.

SHORT-TERM: A cold front will bring a wind shift and drop in temperatures this evening but no rain. Thursday will be seasonable and quiet while Friday will be another warm day.

LONG-TERM: A Saturday morning front will trigger a shower or two, falling temperatures (into the low 60s) with clearing skies after 3:30 p.m. Following three seasonable days, record warmth is expected Wednesday afternoon. The upper-level pattern then favors sustainable warmth through early November.
