Allegheny Trail Cleanup Event Offers Incentive

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): If you are looking to get in touch with Mother Nature, work in a team and get some grub, check out this volunteer event.

Join a great group of folks who will be cleaning up a portion of the Allegheny Trail in Greenbrier County. They will be clearing debris between Bear Branch and Laurel Run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The incentive is free camping and dinner on Saturday. Tools are provided and a shuttle will escort you to and from Bear Branch and Laurel Run.

What’s the weather going to be like? Friday will be sunny and warm with temperatures starting at 40 degrees and ending at 70 degrees.

Saturday: Sprinkle before 8:00 a.m. Otherwise breezy and partly cloudy. Temperatures starting out in the 50s, ending up in the 60s. Sunday: Bright sunshine with mid 30s early and mid 50s by 4 p.m.
