Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): The early week clouds will give way to high pressure, sunshine and warmer temperatures before a winter preview returns this weekend.
TONIGHT THROUGH NOON WEDNESDAY: The stubborn clouds will give way to clear skies tonight, but fog will develop before daybreak. It will take until 10 a.m. for the fog to lift. Fair weather cumulus clouds will return in the afternoon but temperatures will be much milder.
THURSDAY: A milder southwest wind will ensure temperatures are the warmest of the week. The sun will be filtered through a canopy of high, thin cirrus clouds.
FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND: Low pressure will move into the region and produce a steady light to moderate rain for Friday night football. The rain will break up into showers for Bridge Day as a second low pressure in the Carolinas early Saturday and bombs out as it sweeps into the Northeast. Snow showers will produce an inch of accumulation overnight Saturday in Pocahontas County above 4,000 feet.
