Watching Systems With Big Questions

Another storm system moves through our area late Friday into Saturday morning. Most of the snow should move out by noon Saturday, but we still could see some lingering snow through the region.

Models are still in heavy disagreement, but I’ll go ahead and post our current thinking with snow totals through the day Saturday. 1-3 from Beckley to areas north and east. Lewisburg and the Greenbrier Valley should stay a dusting to an inch. However, this is going to be very dependent on how quickly things turn over to snow early Saturday morning, if it starts as rain.

Looking at that 7 day forecast. Once Sunday comes around, things will dry out through Wednesday, but it will be very cold! Lows in the single digits Monday and Tuesday night as we watch for another system moving through the general region late Wednesday into Thursday.
