MCDOWELL, WV (WOAY) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant that resulted in five different arrests.
Around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, September 9th the sheriff’s office was joined by the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force to conduct a search warrant in the Sandy Huff area.
During this, they made five arrests:
Steven Coleman, for drug delivery that resulted in death
Amy Gibson, for capias unlawful possession
James Coleman, for unlawful possession
Rachel Gibson, for both unlawful possession of meth and molly,
Cynthia Payne, for driving while suspended, with no seat belt, and possession of heroin.
The police also took some illicit drugs and some form of U.S. Money. The suspects are awaiting arrangements and for bonds to be set.
