Warm-Up Imminent

Temperatures are very… very cold right now, but that is going to change as we head into the week! An Extreme Cold Warning expires at 10 AM Monday for parts of Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties. That warning is currently in effect due to wind chills potentially reaching -30 degrees. At the time of writing this, roughly 9:30 PM Sunday, the current wind chills are below and expected to keep falling!

Looking ahead to the upcoming weather pattern, and we are going to keep having storm systems come through the pipeline, only difference is these will be more wet, not snowy. That’s going to be because we are finally seeing some 40’s and maybe even some 50’s in the forecast this coming week! Tuesday and Wednesday appear to be fairly clear days, while Thursday returns the chance for rain We clear back out Friday and Saturday, before another storm comes through late Saturday night and Sunday.
