West Virginia (WOAY)- Visit Southern West Virginia has launched the new Brews and Booze Trail.
The gamified trail is accessible through the Brews and Booze Trail digital passport and encourages travelers and locals to visit the craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries of Southern West Virginia.
The trail features ten participating businesses that you may already be familiar with, such as Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company and Smooth Ambler, which will offer special deals to passport holders.
Users who check in their passports while visiting businesses will earn points redeemable for prizes.
Each stop is worth 25 points.
For 50 points, explorers can earn a 5” vinyl sticker featuring the Visit Southern West Virginia Brews and Booze Trail possum logo.
For 75 points, pass holders can earn a cork-back coaster featuring the signature design.
The premium prize, worth 125 points, is a 12-oz wine tumbler.
