Buchanan County, VA (WOAY) – The Virginia State Police are investigating the death of a man in the custody of the Buchanan County Sheriff’s office last night.
The sheriff’s office says two deputies have been placed on administrative leave in accordance with department policy as an internal investigation gets underway.
The names of those deputies have not been released. The Virginia State Police is conducting its own investigation.
