Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) Veterans and their families in Fayette County will have an opportunity to connect with local support services at an upcoming outreach event in Oak Hill.
The Veterans Support Outreach Event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene on East Main Street.
The event will connect veterans with information about mental health and counseling, VA benefits, claims assistance, employment, education, housing, and other community resources.
Organizers say the event is free and open to veterans and their families.
Hot dogs will also be served.
Attendees will have a chance to connect with community members while learning about services available to those who have served.
