Venus Williams to return to Greenbrier with World TeamTennis

WOAY – World TeamTennis announced Thursday that Venus Williams will take part in the league’s 2020 season with the Washington Kastles.

No stranger to the Greenbrier, Williams has previously appeared at the resort in several of their Champions Tennis Classics. In 2018, both she and younger sister Serena were among the players in White Sulphur Springs.

Over her career, Venus has 23 total Grand Slam championships, counting women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles titles. She has played for the Kastles in 14 previous WTT seasons, helping them win four King Cup championships.
