Fairlea, WV (WOAY)- Greenbrier County authorities have made one arrest amid their compliance checks at vape shops across the county.
On Thursday, September 25, the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force and the West Virginia ABC Commission, conducted THC compliance checks across Greenbrier County.
Officers took 22-year-old Marwan Saleh Al Kaaiti into custody at the 3 Tobacco Shop in the Red Oaks Shopping Center in Fairlea.
He now faces a felony charge for allegedly selling THC to an individual under the age of 21.
Bond has been set at $50,000, with cash only, and he is currently being held at the Southern Regional Jail.
Sheriff Bruce Sloan and Prosecutor Patrick Campbell say this operation is just the beginning.
