Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) The United States Postal Service has announced the recommended mailing and shipping dates for the 2026 holiday season.
For expected delivery before December 25th, the Postal Service advises customers to send mail and packages before the following dates:
For the lower 48 states, the shipping deadline for USPS Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail is December 17th. Deadlines for Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express are December 18th and 19th, respectively.
For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Territories, the deadline for the USPS Ground Advantage service is December 16th. The deadlines for other services are the same as above.
For those mailing to military or international addresses, the postal service recommends checking their full list of mail-by dates, beginning in mid-October.
