Raleigh County, WV – New information is released regarding a shooting death that happened overnight.
According to a media release from Raleigh County Sheriff Frank Priddy, deputies responded to investigate a shooting incident at the Glade Springs Guard Shack.
Once arriving on scene, deputies located a security guard with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from the injury.
During the course of the investigation, Michael Lloyd Taylor, age 60, of the Piney View area, was identified as the alleged suspect and later taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Michael Lloyd Taylor is charged with First-Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
The case remains under investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
