UPDATE: Bluefield, VA Library to reopen after COVID-19 tests was negative

UPDATE: (Monday, August 3, 2020, at 9 am) BLUEFIELD, VA (WOAY) – The Tazewell County Public Library says that the COVID-19 tests at the Bluefield Library came back negative.

The library closed last week out of caution when someone was potentially exposed.  The library will reopen on Tuesday, August 4th, at 10 am.


BLUEFIELD, VA (WOAY) – The Bluefield Library is closed until further notice due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Tazewell County Public Library made a post on Facebook that said due to the possible exposure to COVID-19, the Bluefield Library will be closed for the near future.

If you have been to the library and have concerns, you are urged to contact the Tazewell County Health Department.
