Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Runners will soon have a new destination to compete in West Virginia.
For the first time in nearly thirty years a marathon will be ran in Charleston next Spring.
According to a post in the University of Charleston Facebook page, the twenty-six-point two-mile race will take runners through some of Charleston’s most iconic locations — including Downtown, the Elk City district, Kanawha City, and UC’s beautiful riverfront campus.
The race will be hosted by the University of Charleston, alongside the City of Charleston and the Charleston CVB.
