Beckley, WV (WOAY) The United Way of Southern West Virginia is asking for donations to help communities recover from recent flooding.
The organization is working with local partners to provide relief to families, homes, and local organizations impacted by the flooding.
Needed items include box fans, dehumidifiers, heavy-duty trash bags, bleach, five-gallon buckets, work gloves, paper towels and shovels.
Donations can be dropped off at Lewis Nissan at 100 Appalachian Drive in Beckley.
Monetary donations are also being accepted through the United Way of Southern West Virginia Disaster Response Fund at unitedwayswv.org and by scanning the QR code on the flyer.
United Way says every gift will help provide relief and hope as Southern West Virginia rebuilds.
