United Way of Southern West Virginia activates Disaster Response and Recovery fund following severe floods

Beckley, WV (WOAY)- In response to the recent floods, the United Way of Southern West Virginia has activated the disaster response and recovery fund. 

The fund supports impacted communities by meeting urgent flood-related needs and aiding long-term recovery efforts in the hardest-hit areas. 

United Way SWV is also accepting supply donations such as buckets, bleach, trash bags, brooms, shovels, rakes, gloves, mops, water, and non-perishable food. 

The United Way’s Office at 110 Croft Street in Beckley is a donation drop-off location.

The organization will not be taking clothing donations.
