UNION, WV (WOAY) – The Union Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Monroe County businesses to participate in their “Monroe County Stimulus Package” giveaway program.
This effort will utilize Facebook to market businesses through a series of giveaways. The objectives are to support each business with the advance purchase of a gift card, encourage following on business social media pages, promote local spending, and highlight the products, services, and entrepreneurs of the county.

If the number of interested businesses exceeds the allotted funding, then a lottery system will be used to determine participating businesses.
The only commitment needed from the business is to donate a tangible item for a giveaway basket. The Chamber will not dictate the value of the item. At the time the item is secured, the Chamber will purchase a gift card. Both items would be included in the basket.
The intent is to execute these giveaways during what would have been Farmer’s Day weekend.
