Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods issues recall for select cakes sold at Kroger stores in Virginia and West Virginia due to undeclared soy

West Virginia (CNN) Some cakes sold at Kroger stores in Virginia and West Virginia are being recalled.

“Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods” is recalling four of its decorated pound cakes due to a potential allergen.

The company says these cakes may contain undeclared soy, which can pose a potential health threat for people with related allergies.

The 8-inch cakes have buttercream icing and pink or red roses.

Some 6-inch cakes were sold at “Ukrop’s Market Hall” in Richmond.

Customers can return them to the retailer for a refund.
