Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The U.S. Marine Band will be marching to Raleigh County on Thursday, October 2, to grace the community with a free concert, as part of the 2025 United States Marine Band Concert Tour.
The Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization.
Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams, dedicated to its primary mission of providing music for the President of the United States and Commandant of the Marine Corps.
The Woodrow Wilson High School Band will sponsor the concert, which will take place in the WWHS auditorium.
While the concert is free, tickets are required and limited to 4 per request.
Tickets will be valid until 7:15 p.m.
After 7:15 p.m., the open seat policy will take place.
A clear bag policy will be in place.
No large bags or backpacks will be allowed into the venue.
