West Virginia (WOAY)- If you have old prescription drugs you need to get rid of, the U.S. Drug Administration (DEA) is hosting the 27th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26.
There will be collection sites available statewide collecting unneeded medication and dispose of them safely.
Take Back events are free and anonymous, so come by with your old prescription drugs to help prevent pill abuse and theft.
The DEA reminds everyone they will not accept any liquids, needles, or sharps.
To find your local collection site, visit dea.gov.
