RALEIGH COUNTY (WOAY) – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin has announced over $1.3 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the Raleigh County Community Action Association’s Early Head Start Program.
Machine stated that he is “Pleased he is investing more than $1.3 million into Raleigh County’s Community Action Association’s Early Head Start Program and that no matter their background, every child in West Virginia deserves access to quality education.”
As a long-time supporter of Early Head Start programs and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Manchin said, “I will continue advocating for funding that supports educational opportunities for all children across the Mountain State.”
