Bluefield, WV (WOAY)-Are you thinking about a career in health care or looking to take your next step in the field?
You’ll have a chance to connect with local educators and employers at the Two Virginias Health Fair, happening Saturday, October 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mercer Mall.
Mercer Mall and the Rotary Club of Princeton partner to host the event, with support from Princeton Community Hospital.
This year’s fair focuses on Medical Career Pathways to link students, job seekers, and career changers with programs from Bluefield State University and Southwest Virginia Community College.
Visitors can learn about degrees and certifications in nursing, imaging science, radiologic technology, and more.
There will be free health screenings, wellness resources, giveaways, and a giant set of lungs and a brain walk-through inflatable to help visitors learn about how lifestyle impacts our health.
Admission is free, and the first 50 people to request a flu shot will get one at no cost.
