Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Two Raleigh County students were honored for their efforts to register high school seniors to vote.
Amelia Thomas and Joshua Isaac Conaway were named honorary Secretaries of State.
They are students at Victory Baptist Academy, and organized a student-led effort to boost voter registration.
Victory Baptist Academy successfully registered at least 85 percent of its eligible student body to vote.
