Two patients at a long term care facility in Greenbrier County have tested positive for COVID-19

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Greenbrier County Health Department is reporting that two patients have tested positive for COVID-19 in a long term care facility.

As long term care facilities have been testing all staff and residents by the Governor’s executive order, the Greenbrier County Health Department has identified two new cases. Both cases are residents of the same facility.

Health Department and facility staff are working closely together to ensure the safety of the other residents and the staff.

The other four people who tested prior to COVID-19 have recovered. The total number of positive cases in Greenbrier County is six.
