As Mt. Hope Police Chief S.M. Jasper told WOAY,
On the night of Saturday, June 20th, Mt. Hope police pulled over a car around 5:30 in the evening, and upon investigation, found illegal drugs, and the driver, a local woman, was arrested on misdemeanor drug charges. Her name has not yet been released.
Early the next morning, on Route 19 near Bradley, another Mt. Hope officer conducted a traffic stop with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
