Twin City Food issues voluntary recall of frozen vegetable products due to potential Listeria contamination

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)-  Twin City Foods of Stanwood, Washington, is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of its products.

Those include individually quick frozen super sweet cut corn and mixed vegetables sold at Kroger and Food Lion grocery stores.

The FDA has listed the specific lot numbers and products under the recall on its website.

There’s concern the frozen corn may have been contaminated by listeria, which can cause serious illness in pregnant women, the elderly, and children.

Fortunately, no complaints of human illness have been tied to the products.

Consumers can return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
