Beckley, WV (WOAY) – If you’re ready to train with a deputy, there’s an opportunity coming up this weekend.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is hosting ‘Train with a Deputy’, program to help those interested in law enforcement start their journey.
Led by recruiting Officer Sergeant B. J. Adkins and Deputy Hashimura, participants will complete a practice physical fitness test, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the sheriff’s office, and have a chance to ask questions and learn firsthand the responsibilities of a deputy sheriff.
The event is this Sunday, November 9, at 3:00 p.m. at the Beckley Soccer Complex.
