Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Are you ready to train with a deputy? You can this Sunday!
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its program, ‘Train Like a Deputy’, to help those who are interested in law enforcement start their journey.
Led by recruiting Officer, Sargent B. J. Adkins, participants will complete a practice physical fitness test, take a behind-the-scenes tour of the sheriff’s office, and have a chance to ask questions and learn firsthand the responsibilities of a deputy sheriff.
The event is this Sunday, October 5th, at 3:00 p.m., located at the soccer complex.
