Fairlea, WV (WOAY) Three Ohio residents and one local man are in police custody following a traffic stop in Greenbrier County.
According to an official police statement, on Thursday, December 11, officers with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop in Fairlea.
During a search, authorities discovered drugs in the vehicle, and that two of the passengers were minors.
35-year-old Jed Williams is in custody, facing charges of child endangerment, possession of illegal narcotics, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police also arrested a 19-year-old male from Akron, Ohio, charging him with child endangerment, possession of illegal narcotics with the intent to deliver cocaine and fentanyl, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The juvenile males, also from Ohio, are in a juvenile detention facility and face charges of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and conspiracy.
Police processed the two adult suspects at the Greenbrier Sheriff’s Office.
They await further court proceedings in Southern Regional Jail.
Williams has a $15,000 cash bail.
