Fayette County, WV (WOAY) -A traffic stop in the Victor area of Fayette County led to narcotics arrests. Sheriff Jess McMullen stated that on February 4, the traffic stop was conducted due to a traffic violation.
During the stop, deputies suspected there may be narcotics in the car. While obtaining consent to search, a deputy saw the driver trying to hide a package of narcotics. Additional deputies assisted and searched the passengers, which led to the discovery of more narcotics.
Three people were charged during this incident.
Megan Mullins of Ansted, charged with the felony offense of possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy.
Norma Burgess of Ansted, charged with felony offenses of possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy.
Finally, Courtney Stone of Ansted, charged with felony offenses of possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy.
