West Virginia (CNN)- Toyota recalls 145 thousand SUVs, including Grand Highlander and Lexus TX models.
The problem is both vehicles have curtain airbags on the driver’s side that may not deploy if that window is rolled down.
Toyota hasn’t quite worked out a fix yet.
The automaker says owners will be notified directly of the recall by mid-August.
The SUVs are produced in the same facility, and both are new models that went on sale last year.
