Town of Tazewell’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt hops to town on March 28 featuring an additional sensory friendly egg hunt

Tazewell, VA (WOAY) The Town of Tazewell’s 2026 Easter Egg Hunt kicks off on Saturday, March 28th, at 10:00 am at Lincolnshire Park, hosted by Tazewell Today.

Egg hunts will be divided by age group and will be jam-packed with candy, prizes, and surprises.

The event is free to attend.

Organizers say all you need is your baskets and smiles!

The Town of Tazewell is adding a new inclusive option to this year’s Easter celebrations.

The Easter egg hunt will now include a separate sensory-friendly egg hunt designed for children who may experience sensory sensitivities.

The goal is to create a more comfortable environment so every child can enjoy the excitement of hunting for eggs and making special holiday memories.

Town leaders say they’re proud to make community events more inclusive for families across Tazewell.

The egg hunt’s raincheck date will be Saturday, April 4, should those spring showers rain on all the fun.
