Alderson, WV (WOAY) – The town of Alderson is making changes to its July 4th celebration.
According to the Facebook page for the Alderson 4th of July Celebration, since the Memorial Bridge is in need of repairs the 2025 Alderson 4th of July Parade will have a new route.
The parade will not be going to the Monroe side of town.
The parade will continue on Riverview Ave instead of going across the bridges. The Quiet Zone is now from Virginia Street to North Monroe and is shown in blue.
In case you missed it, the town of Alderson goes all out each year adorned in red, white, and blue proudly hosting what has earned the title of West Virginia’s Best Fourth of July Celebration.
The 64th Annual Alderson 4th of July Celebration runs June 27th through July 6th of 2025.
