Raleigh County tire collection scheduled for May 1 in Beckley

Beckley, WV (WOAY)- The Department of Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation Environmental Action Plan (REAP) will host a tire collection in Raleigh County on May 1.

The event will occur at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center’s upper gravel lot from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

Only tires from state residents, such as passenger cars or light truck tires, will be accepted. 

Tires from businesses will not be eligible.

Additionally, Tires must be off the rim, with a 10-tire limit per person. 

Social distancing guidelines will be put into effect during the event.
